SwimMark Information Sessions
There have been a number of changes implemented to SwimMark over the last 6 months and we strongly recommend that all clubs attend our one of our SwimMark Information Sessions to familiarise yourself with these changes in preparation for your next renewal. As part of a clubs affiliation to Swim England, as of 1st December 2020 all clubs are required to complete Stronger Affiliation (this is not required if a club already has SwimMark), if your club has not yet achieved SwimMark or Stronger Affiliation then we would encourage you to attend a session to begin the process. These sessions are aimed at SwimMark Coordinators and/or other relevant club personnel.

Swim England Safeguarding CPD
A requirement of Stronger Affiliation/SwimMark is that all workforce within the club who are in regular contact with young people and are required to complete a DBS; these people must also complete a Safeguarding CPD. Please contact your club development officer, or WavePower if you are unsure regarding safeguarding requirements. Swim England launched their own Safeguarding CPD earlier this year which is now available online with many workshops to choose from.
